Whenever I have a question about my diabetes, I always go to my doctor for answers.
I really didn't restrict any foods from my diet, but noticed that prior to being diagnosed with diabetes I was always tired, thirsty and always going to use the bathroom. I immediately went to my doctor, when he gave a meter to check my blood, and as I changed my diet, I saw my numbers come down, and am almost down to normal blood sugar numbers now.
If I knew someone who was recently diagnosed with diabetes, I would tell them to follow thir doctor's orders and watch their diets and cut their carbs down. Whenever I have a question about my diabetes, I always go to my doctor for answers.
